Another excellent video from the MotoGeo folks. The Ducati Scrambler looks like an awesome motorbike!
July 4th Ride
I’ve been on my own for about a month now while my wife and kids are in Japan so I have a lot of free time to ride my motorcycle. Today I decided to ride north. That was pretty much the whole plan. I found a cool road that I’ve been wondering about, which starts in the town of Lampasas. I have seen the sign to Colorado Bend State Park many times but today was the first time I actually took it. It is really a gem of a road! Not many cars, some nice gentle twisties and today fine weather hovering about 89 degrees F, with beautiful clouds in the skies. It was awesome!

Total miles ridden: 155
Stormy Day for a Ride

A stormy day means it’s a good chance to wash the GS! I think I have only hand-washed Kiki once (the kids wanted to). I usually let the rain was her. Seem like that’s how a GS should be washed.
It was relatively warm today (yay Texas!) even though we are in the middle of December. Was so much fun riding around.

Morning Ride

I’m pretty lucky that I live on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, which has some really fun roads to ride. This morning I rode 1431 from our house in Cedar Park to Marble Falls, then up to Park Road 4, which goes past Longhorn Caverns State Park, and then on to Inks Lake State Park, where I took these photos. It was so much fun, that I turned around and rode the same way back home, and made it in time for lunch! It was a total of about 150 miles round-trip and a fantastic way to spend a Saturday morning.
